Linn's withdrawal, Yep - another Linn thread

Well I have said mainly what a lot of you already stated about Linn and her feelings on leaving and how it wasn't right for her. So aside from all of that I just gotta say that no matter what I just adore the woman and her beautiful angelic voice and I am so thankful I have songs to listen to to remind me that she's still out there in the world making somebody happy with her beautiful smile.

I agree with you Jolene. I'm thankful to be reminded by music and photographs of that such an amazing and brilliant woman does exists. Her melodies and her unique sound, silly yet dark personality, and her beautiful Scandinavian looks, it's all Linn. I think we all wish the best for her and agree that she does deserve happiness just like anyone else in the world.

Yeah man I seriously just tried to put Linn behind me and I remember on the Hallo boards getting attacked for disowning her but that wasn't it at all. If anything I was just hurt and now I come back and see the entire band changed with Jenny doing solo. I was so looking forward to holding on to the magic of the three remaining members. Without that its like okay I don't have any of it. Anyway so what I am saying I might as well just embrace Linn, embrace the past because it's all I really have now as far as Ace Of Base is concerned.

Well I wasn't around then the Hallo boards were around but I know a lot of people did that. A lot of people are still angry about that. If I were you, I wouldn't give up on AOB. I haven't. I know Linn and Jenny are no longer with them but they are still trying to make music and I believe we should give them another chance. You never know what they could do. No matter what I am always going to be a Linn fan and no matter what I am always going to love the old AOB but sometimes things happen and people chance. Hence why Linn left. She changed.

Since I don't often agree with most of what SuperMikey writes/says, I thought I would take a rare opportunity to say I agree with what he wrote here.

As far as the issues with Linn and whether there was reason for concern, it's up to her and her family, and so while I do feel bad (as I do think it became too much and scarred her), I also accept completely that they never have to tell us about it.

I think saying the jist that they do now about how the road to fame was not for her is both truthful and respects her privacy. So I'm content.

I hope she's happy. And as I've said before, my ultimate wish is that she could find a way to be HAPPY singing again and sharing her talent with the world.

But until, and unless, that day comes where she feels happy about that, she has to do other things that she is more comfortable and content with.

I would agree, I think I am pretty content with the fact that Linn is no longer apart of AOB. I am happy at the thought that she is living her life and loving the one she has chosen to follow through with. I don't think she would come back into the music career but never say never. People change and things happen. But I think we all can agree that we hope she is happy doing whatever it is she is doing and is enjoying her life the way she would like.

I think the road to fame is never truthful and never private. As somebody said ..its like selling ur soul to the Devil...I am convinced there is more to the LINN SAGA than what meets the eye....well Jonas's words partly gave me the clue...the rest is anybody's guess....
