Jenny Updates?, any time s··n?

In english, the verb "to preach" has a very morally superior undertone.

Not neccessarily in the exact definition of "preach" but rather in the way that we use it.

"My mom has been preaching at me all week, that I need to quit smoking"

"There he goes again, preaching the gospel."


It's all, I guess in how you use it. I guess I just feel like when it's used in the context "teaching/preaching" that is indicative that "teaching" is not a sufficient discriptor of the negativity in this action, and so "/preaching" must be added to show a great disdain for anyone expressing views other than your own.

That's all I was trying to say.

But you're absolutely right Elio, the word "preach" itself is not negative in any way, nor does it mean anything other than "to share knowledge"

Star 102.1 (Knoxville, TN) should be airing an interview with Jenny. I e-mailed the DJ, Gretchen, and she said it would air either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. It may have aired already. The station does not have a listen live link on their site, unfortunately. But Gretchen is going to send the MP3 of the interview to The Jenny Source. So, I'm sure you can hear it there once they get a copy.

Dagnabbit! I forgot to tell my Tennessee friends to check the station and tape it for me if Jenny came on. Hopefully, as you say, they'll give an mp3 to The Jenny Source.
